Separate departments within the Diocesan Office are being consolidated into a new Mission and Discipleship Team.
This new team, led by the Archdeacon Missioner, brings together the support being offered to parishes in the areas of:
- Ministry and leadership
- Healthy churches
- New worshipping communities
- Community transformation
Archdeacon Barry says:
"There had been some cross-over between the support provided by the Diocesan Training Partnership, and support with the 8 essential qualities of church health. This new consolidated structure will enable us to better resource the diocesan family of churches."
Richard Cooke - who was the Principal of the Diocesan Training Partnership - is the Director of Ministry and Leadership.
Sally Buddle - who joins the team on 1 September - is the new Director of Healthy Church and New Worshipping Communities.
