After last month’s announcement that Bishop Christopher will become the Dean of Windsor in November, plans for the interim period of vacancy continue to take shape.
In his letter to those ministering across the diocese, Bishop Christopher shared that he had hoped to lay out the interim plans for the vacancy soon after the announcement however, with many moving parts at play, these plans are taking longer to land than anticipated.
Please be assured that much work is happening as we work together with the Archbishop’s team at Lambeth Palace to ensure plans are suitable and secure.
We also hope to announce some archidiaconal arrangements soon which will aim to strengthen the team and increase the capacity to support the ministry happening across our parishes. These will be bridging arrangements, giving us a level of stability in a time of transition.
Let us continue to hold each other up in prayer as we navigate these unusual circumstances, we will share more news as soon as we are able to.
