The Diocese of Coventry internally advertises vacant posts in two ways:
- The diocesan website has a vacancies section
- The diocesan eBulletin is sent to 2,000 people within the diocese every week
The following table shows how the website and eBulletin are used to advertise different types of vacant posts.

Notes of clarification
- Our policy is to publish adverts and articles in the diocesan eBulletin only once - they are not repeated in subsequent weeks. This policy significantly reduces the size of the eBulletin, which means that people are more likely to read it.
- We occasionally receive requests from neighbouring dioceses when they have difficulty filling a post. We expect such dioceses to respond positively to a similar request from the Diocese of Coventry.
- We occasionally receive requests from charities and non-Anglican churches. We usually respond positively to such requests, provided that
- The are based within the geographical boundaries of the Diocese of Coventry
- Their aims are aligned with at least part of our own diocesan purpose
- They make such requests no more than twice in any calendar year
