Meet our new priests

On Saturday 27th June, eight new priests are to be ordained at Coventry Cathedral by Bishop Sophie. The new priests have already served as deacons for a year. On their ordination as priests they will remain in their present parishes while their on-going training continues.

Welcome Jennie Johnson, Director of the West Midlands Racial Justice Initiative

As the new Director of the West Midlands Racial Justice Initiative (WMRJI), Jennie Johnson is committed to creating church spaces which are places of welcoming and belonging to everyone, regardless of their background. She has a real desire for seeing God’s justice in the world and believes we all have a role to play in that.

On Sunday 28th June at 10.30am five new deacons will be ordained at Coventry Cathedral by The Bishop of Coventry, the Right Reverend Sophie Jelley.
