On the 15th and 16th June 2023, 8000 primary school children and 1000 adults attended ALIVE 2023, a massive praise party organised by the Coventry Diocesan Board of Education (DBE) in partnership with Imagine Ministries and Feed the Hungry.
On Sunday 2nd July, thirteen new priests are to be ordained at Coventry Cathedral by Bishop Christopher. The new priests have already served as deacons for a year. On their ordination as priests they will remain in their present parishes while their on-going training continues.
The King has approved that The Right Reverend Dr Christopher Cocksworth, Bishop of Coventry, be appointed to the Deanery of The King’s Free Chapel of St George, Windsor Castle, in succession to The Right Reverend David Conner following his retirement.
On Sunday 2nd July new deacons will be ordained at Coventry Cathedral by The Bishop of Warwick, the Right Reverend John Stroyan.
