Safeguarding

The Diocese of Coventry is committed to the safeguarding, care and nurture of everyone within our church community.

We believe that making our churches safe for all is everyone’s responsibility.  The safeguarding team provides professional advice and training to support our parishes and the Cathedral in achieving this. We also support those who may have suffered abuse both within and outside of the church environment.

National Safeguarding Standards

There are five national standards for safeguarding in the Church of England, please click here for further information.
