Spring festival for Earth Day at Coventry Cathedral

Let your curiosity guide you on the 22nd April, as Coventry Cathedral bring you Spring Festival!

22nd April is Earth Day. Earth Day is an annual celebration that honors the achievements of the environmental movement and raises awareness of the need to protect the Earth's natural resources for future generations.

The Spring Festival will kick off at 12 noon with with a city-wide plant and seed swap so bring yours and trade them out for some curious oddities grown by your neighbours.

Enjoy live music and the magical sound of the harp, immerse yourself in neo-psych-jazz, watch a spectacular dance performance that takes a stand for mother earth, and then get ready to shake off the cobwebs with some rock and roll.

Are you searching for a new summer outfit but don’t want to contribute to fast fashion? Adorn a fabulous new wardrobe at the Swap Shop, helping you spring-clean your closet whilst leaving your throwaway fashion mentality last year.

Visit stalls run by local artists showcasing nature inspired fashion and illustrations, as well as local produce stalls and enjoy fresh food cooked by the Pod from 1-3pm.

Soak up the ground-breaking exhibition, This Fragile Earth from the Fleming Collection (4th April – 29th May) focusing on artists ahead of their time in responding to the threat of climate change.

The Spring Festival is delivered in partnership with The Pod & Food Union.
