'Adventuring with God at Home' is a online holiday club created by the Growing Faith team in the Diocese of Coventry (with many people contributing to it).
The Growing Faith team realised that many churches will not be able to run their normal holiday club this year and that creating something virtual can be a huge amount of work. Therefore, the team created Adventuring with God at Home. Whether you are a church looking to run something in place of a holiday club or you are a family looking for a way to connect together, Adventuring with God at Home has everything you need and is completely flexible to adapt.
There are five sessions - you may run it as a holiday week or chose a day a week over the summer holidays. You may run it virtuallu or post it out to run at home.
Each session has:
- An introduction
- A story
- An activity
- A creative prayer
- A worship song (always a video)
- A passport reflection (A moment to pause and add to the downloadable passport)
- Meal chatter (Suggested questions to reflect later in the day)
- Venture out (something to explore God in nature and the outdoors)
