St Andrew's Church in Eastern Green has been working in conjunction with Coventry City Council and the Trussell Trust to open an emergency Food Bank to meet the growing need of food poverty in Coventry. The Food Bank runs out of the Mosiac Family Hub and is currently operating two days a week but has enough volunteers to be open on more days if the need arises.
Churches in Coventry are working hard to keep up with demand, and there are plans to open food hubs in Cheylesmore and Canley.
