Graeme Pringle will be retiring as Director Communications and Projects at the end of January. Graeme has served the Diocese of Coventry in this key role for 11 years.
Graeme said:
“It has been a great privilege to serve the Diocese of Coventry in my communications role during the past 11 years. I’ve worked with some fantastic colleagues, and am very grateful for their support, friendship and commitment. It has also been a pleasure to work with ministers and church officers throughout the whole diocese.
I’m also grateful for the encouragement that I received from our clergy and safeguarding officers when I first launched Safeguarding Dashboards in 2018. Your feedback helped to shape the dashboards, which are now being used in 6,000 parishes across 33 dioceses. I’m leaving my communications role so that I can give more time to the next major development of the dashboards.”

“Graeme has been a great asset to the Diocese as Ordinand, Curate, Vicar and latterly as Director of Communications and Projects. Graeme’s clarity of mind, gentleness of spirit and integrity of character, combined with his skill to turn ideas into delivery have enriched our life together in the Diocese of Coventry in untold ways. Personally, I will greatly miss his support and I am very grateful for his and for Jan’s ministry among us over many years.”
Jacqueline Ladds, Diocesan Secretary and Chief Executive adds:
“I am immensely grateful to Graeme for the dedicated service he has given to the Diocesan offices over the last 11 years. In his role as Director of Communications and Projects, he has supported the wider life of the Diocese in so many ways; developing the Parish Safeguarding Dashboard for our parishes; advising Clergy and Laity during times of national need, like COVID and more recently the death of Her Majesty the Queen; and articulating Bishop Christopher’s 2030 vision in the Strategic Framework. His commitment to and belief in our mission purpose is wonderful to see and I know he will continue to support us in whatever way he can.”
Graeme’s final day in the office will be Tuesday 31 January 2023.
