This year's Black History Month theme, 'Reclaiming Narratives' focuses on changing previous established stories and adding a different historical perspective on them. This may feel uncomfortable, but God always knows the truth and that is something we can hold onto when facing uncertainty or injustice.
Black History Month Features:
- Reflections from UKME/GMH Clergy & Laity on a weekly basis on Wednesdays from 2nd October on the news stories section of the diocesan website.
- A look at influential Black figures and their importance in Engineering, Literature, Racial Justice and Christian Faith on diocesan social media.
- Neil Masih – (Intercultural Mission Enabler) shares his thoughts about Racial Justice and developments in the Diocese with Martin Kitara | Communications and Marketing Manager -The Archbishop of Canterbury’s Reconciliation Ministry.
- Article from Oxford Journal for Intercultural Mission Diocese of Oxford featuring UKME/GMH people from our diocese and Neil Masih.
