It is recognised that people from United Kingdom Minority Ethnic / Global Majority Heritage (UKME / GMH) backgrounds are currently under-represented in the governing bodies of the Diocese of Coventry.  This includes elected bodies such as Diocesan Synod and Bishop’s Council.  It is in these places that decisions, planning and influencing happens and it is critical to inclusion, belonging, representation and growth that there is diversity of thought, understanding and contribution in these processes. The Diocese of Coventry particularly welcomes nominations from UKME / GMH candidates, to help us live up to our mandate of being a body where all the gifts of all the people flourish to the full, as we work together in our mission purpose of worshipping God, making new disciples and transforming communities.
