Are you a senior Christian leader who sees education as mission and wants to make a lasting impact on children, communities, and the Church?
The Diocese of Coventry is seeking a Diocesan Director of Education (DDE) to lead and sustain Christian education across 76 Church of England schools. As Director and CEO of the Diocesan Board of Education, you will provide strategic leadership, working with the Bishop, parishes, schools, MATs, local authorities, and national partners. This influential role requires theological depth, educational credibility, and strong system leadership.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has significant leadership experience in the state school sector
- Is a practising Christian rooted in prayer and mission
- Leads with pastoral wisdom and builds strong partnerships
- Communicates the Gospel clearly and convincingly
This role has an Occupational Requirement for the post holder to be a practising Christian (Equality Act 2010). Children and Families Worker, Christ Church, Brownsover
Hours: Part time - 20 hours per week (flexibly over no more than 4 days including Sundays and occasional Saturdays)

An exciting opportunity to pioneer and help shape a growing Children's & Families Ministry at St Peter's Church. Working alongside the Vicar and a supportive team. You will develop engaging children's ministry, create opportunities for families to explore and grow in the Christian faith, strengthen relationships with our local Church of England schools, and help prepare the church for the opportunities presented by significant parish growth across Rugby South West. CPAS Communications Officer (maternity cover)
Hours: This is a full-time appointment of five days per week
Salary: £29,224 - £32,300 per annum. For a candidate with significant experience, there is the potential to increase up to £35,376 per annum.

Growing Faith Families Minister
St Francis warmly invites you to join us on the exciting adventure of Growing Faith in our community. Together, we hope to cultivate a culture where children, young people and households are naturally included and valued in every aspect of the church life.
Reaching out and growing the faith of our children, families, and young people in the parish is one of our key priorities. Since mid-2024, Sunday School, Youth Group, and the Parents’ Group have restarted, and we now welcome between 10 and 20 children in our congregation each week.
We are keen to continue developing our Sunday school, local school ministry and other activities, working alongside our new volunteers. Our aim is to grow the faith and discipleship of our families, within the parish, at church, in schools, at home and throughout our local community, building on the strong networks and connections St Francis already has.
Hours: 15 hours
