The diocesan finance team handles all matters of finance, and some areas of diocesan administration and governance. This includes:
- Collecting parish shares, and calculating the next year’s deanery shares
- Paying invoices and expenses
- Budgeting, and annual statutory and management accounts
- All aspects of clergy stipends, staff salaries, and pensions
- Queries from, and advice to, parishes on parochial finance matters
- Supporting Diocesan Synod, and some other committees
- Administering parochial returns and statistics
- Church Representation Rules queries
