Responding to the climate emergency is an essential part of our responsibility to care for God’s creation and renew our relationship with the environment.
At the the Church of England's General Synod in July 2026, the Bishops Council offered a major theological resource in Hope for All Creation, a new liturgical provision including an annual Feast of Creation in Christ. This publication and associated resources restate our commitment to Caring for Creation and curbing carbon emissions.
Through practical work across the diocese with the Net Zero Carbon Project Officer, we recognise how every small step can help towards making a big difference.
