Last year, the Race Equality Advisory Group (REAG) responded to the Prophet Isaiah’s vision by launching a diocesan-wide art competition.
Children and youth responded by submitting 71 entries from a spectrum of students attending primary, secondary, and sixth form schools. These entries were put to a public vote with the winners being announced at a special service at Coventry Cathedral for Racial Justice Sunday.
The service was held at Coventry Cathedral on Sunday 12th February. The banners display the three winning racial justice logos. The three logos were combined to create the final logo which is featured second in from the left of the photo above. Members of the Race Equality Advisory Group (REAG) who organised the competition and participated in the service are included in the photo at the top.Thank you for to all who assisted in organising and contributing to this event!
