
Volunteer Opportunity: Diocesan Environment Officer (DEO)
Location: Diocese of Coventry (some travel required)
Commitment: Approx. 1 day/week (flexible, includes some evenings/weekends)

Are you passionate about the environment and inspired by the Church’s call to safeguard the integrity of creation? The Diocese of Coventry is seeking a Diocesan Environment Officer (DEO) to champion our environmental mission.
As DEO, you will:
- Inspire and equip churches across the diocese to engage with creation care, promoting key initiatives including Eco Church
- Communicate the theological and biblical foundations of environmental stewardship and reconciliation with God’s creation
- Support a network of Deanery Environmental Representatives and parish environmental champions
- Represent the diocese in regional and national environmental networks
We’re seeking someone who:
- Has a deep passion for the environment and a strong understanding of creation care and climate justice
- Is a confident communicator, able to engage with diverse audiences
- Can build relationships and empower parishes to take action
- Understands the Diocese of Coventry’s message of reconciliation with God, people, and planet
It is an Occupational Requirement (Schedule 9 part 1 of the Equality Act 2010) of this post to have a committed Christian faith.

Senior Team Administrator - CPAS
Clergy appointments (Patronage) team
Involved in patronage for more than a century CPAS is now the largest patron in the Church of England with parishes in every diocese and context. We are seeking a highly organised, relational Senior Team Administrator to take a lead role in coordinating clergy appointment processes across the whole breadth of the Church of England. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact at a national level to the health and growth of the Church of England.
The team needs fast-moving, responsive and accurate administrative support, so we are looking for an administrator of significant ability, who will bring excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and the confidence to manage multiple tasks with good judgement. The ideal candidate will be calm, approachable and resilient, inspire confidence and trust, and have a passion to see local churches led well, thriving, and reaching out with the Gospel to their community. Trust Fundraising Officer
We are seeking a positive, team-focused, relational and customer-orientated Trust Fundraising Officer to join our creative and busy Fundraising and Communications Team.
You will be responsible for liaising with grant givers, and writing and submitting high quality, compelling funding applications to trusts and foundations. The ideal candidate will enjoy cultivating positive relationships with funders, liaising with our outward focused ministry teams to build excellent submissions and will thrive in a high-pressure environment. With your excellent time management and organisational skills, you will take ownership of a portfolio of small-medium grant-makers, contributing towards a shared annual income target.
