The Revd Kate Massey was installed as Canon for Arts and Reconciliation on Sunday 15th June at Coventry Cathedral.
Kate has a particular responsibility for gathering together the arts and reconciliation teams in the cathedral, and taking forward the cathedral's work both nationally and internationally, as well here in the diocese in collaboration with diocesan colleagues. She will share in the leadership and ministry of the Cathedral with the Dean, Very Revd John Witcombe, Canon Nitano Muller, Canon for Worship and Welcome, and Simon Danks, the cathedral's Chief Operating Officer.
Kate says:
"Coventry Cathedral is a place where the gospel of Jesus Christ and the needs of our broken world meet in a remarkable and powerful way. It is an incredible privilege to be invited to contribute to the Cathedral's ministry as Canon for Arts and Reconciliation. I am looking forward to working with colleagues and friends at the Cathedral, in Coventry Diocese and around the globe as we explore creatively and courageously what it means to be people of reconciliation amidst the many conflicts and divisions of our time."
