Celebrations at All Saints, Emscote

Bishop Ruth visited All Saints, Emscote on Sunday 14th July as the church marked a number of special occasions.

Bishop Ruth writes:

The service marked the 35th anniversary of the consecration of the ‘new’ All Saints church building, 170 years since the foundation stone was laid for the first All Saints’ Church, and 163 years of partnership between the church and Emscote and All Saints’ schools.

The Revd. Diane Thompson preached and presided with Bishop Ruth confirming 2 candidates, Ellen and Pat. During the service, members of the congregation contributed in the form of dance and song. The schools’ Federation Choir had sung at the Albert Hall in London during the week and led the worship. Ania (Family Link Worker) & Daisy sang ‘Together we Stand’ composed by Ania. All of which made for a wonderful and celebratory occasion to mark Revd. Diane’s final service. We would like to thank Revd. Diane for her years of dedicated and fruitful ministry to All Saints!
