From time to time, the Diocese of Coventry has a legal obligation to display on its website certain public notices regarding the planned changes to some buildings.
Any such notices will be added to this page.
This rule applies to works which:
(a) fall within paragraph 1(a) of Schedule 1 and affect a grade l or ll* listed church or the exterior of a grade ll listed church; or
(b) fall within paragraph 1(c) of Schedule 1.
Paragraph 1(a) of Schedule 1 concerns works which "involve alteration to or the extension of a listed building to such an extent as would be likely to affect its character as a building of special architectural or historic interest"; paragraph 1(c) concerns works which "involve demolition affecting the exterior of an unlisted building in a conservation area".
