Following the murder of Sir David Amess, the Bishop Coventry has called on churches to pray for Sir David's family and also for our local MPs.
Last month, members of the Diocesan family gathered together in person for the first time since 2020 to explore God's faithfulness through various prayer stations and activities at Coventry Cathedral.
On 1 October, the German Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Andreas Michaelis, presented the Bishop of Coventry, The Rt Revd Dr Christopher Cocksworth, with the Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, conferred upon him by Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Tim Cox, The Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire, is spending two days visiting community projects being run by the Church of England and other local charities.
